14 teams make the NFL playoffs: 7 from the NFC and 7 from the AFC (4 division winners and 3 wild-card teams per conference). Teams are seeded 1-7 based on record and tiebreakers. The No. 1 seed gets a first-round bye. The playoff format changed from 12 to 14 teams in 2020.
