Champions League Final 2025

Paris, At Last!
May 31st, 2025 |
In a final destined for the history books, Paris Saint-Germain delivered a stunning 5-0 victory over Inter Milan to claim their first-ever UEFA Champions League title. It was a night of pure dominance — a historic thrashing that left no room for doubt about the superiority of Luis Enrique’s youthful, electrifying side.
PSG came into the final with the youngest starting XI ever seen in the competition’s last match — an average age of just 25 — while Inter leaned on experience, fielding one of the oldest XIs in final history. But from the opening whistle, it was clear which team was hungrier. Paris attacked with purpose, energy, and precision, scoring the opener in the 11th minute through a move straight off the training ground: Vitinha threaded a perfect ball to Doué, who squared it for Hakimi to finish.
By the 20-minute mark, PSG had already netted twice — the first team ever to do so that early in a Champions League final. Inter, exhausted from their grueling semifinal against Barcelona, never found a way back.
The fifth goal, fittingly scored by rising star Mayulu, capped a performance that was both a footballing masterclass and a long-awaited coronation. Fourteen years after Qatar’s ambitious project began in Paris, PSG has finally lifted the most coveted trophy in club football. They become only the second French team in history to win the European Cup, after Marseille in 1993.
This victory completes a historic treble (Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and Champions League) for PSG — and the journey may not be over yet. With the Club World Cup on the horizon, the Parisian giants now set their sights on global dominance. And after a night like this, who would dare bet against them?
